Distinctive Accomplishments
Landed lucrative new contracts. RWMIC account, Kaiser Permanente, had two multi-million dollar contracts up for bid. Worked tirelessly, inspiring team to increase company’s footprint at Kaiser. Leveraged this heightened presence to secure both contracts. Doubled Kaiser business, adding $6-7M in sales.
Ensured success of major Group Buy for Datex-Ohmeda. D-O, a $1.5B anesthesia manufacturer, was asked by GPO to partner in a significant Group Buy to which internal D-O leadership objected. Overcame all concerns, fostering sales of $15M in 90 days, with 48% conversion rate
Turned new product introduction into large new contract. D-O’s new physiological ICU monitor needed rapid market exposure to get off the ground. As National Account Manager of a major GPO, initiated group presentation that “sold” GPO on quality of new product. Generated $3.5M in new product sales in year one and, in the process, won lucrative contract projected to produce $15-18M over its three-year life-span.
Overcame competition to win large new contract and renewal of existing one. Datascope, a $1B medical capital equipment manufacturer, had an $8M contract that was at risk due to increased competition. Convinced MedAssets of Datascope’s continuing product superiority to win contract renewal. Simultaneously presented company’s product line to major GPO, Premier Inc. to capture new contract valued at $20M.
