I am a certified Lean Manager, certified Six Sigma Black Belt, certified Master Project Manager, Certified Motion Expert with MTM Association, MTM-1, and HB Maynard Basic MOST, Certified Ergonomic Engineer, Certified Statistical Process Control Train-the-Trainer, 3P, Team Leader. I use these skills to implement lean ergonomic six sigma programs while I develop individuals and process improvement teams. Some of the other improvement tools that I have successfully used include, General Electric Action Work Out, Design for Six Sigma, Lean Line Design, 8D problem solving, Toyotas 3P process design, Lean Management System to Sustain a Lean Culture, Shop Floor Management, San Gen Shugi, Theory of Constraints, Yokoten, Hoshin Kanri. My career is about learning all aspects of process and product improvement, what works and what does not, as Toyota lean thinkers would say, to understand something, you must become what you are trying to understand, the accomplishments on my resume displays this philosophy. The plan is twofold, one is to attack existing poorly designed processes to reduce human and equipment wastes, create flow and make work easier and safer for the workforce while we develop people. Second, we need to attack the wastes were they are mostly created, in the design stage. During my Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt and DOE work, I learned that 80% of wastes which we attempt to improve in our Action Work Outs are created during product and process design! We need to design for manufacture and design for assembly not after the product and processes are launched. I have extensive experience using DFSS 3P-Process.Why are my projects successful when others are not? I develop people, ensuring they understand the concepts by working together on projects, this develops capable people. We track improvements on a monthly basis and report the results and take action to bridge any gaps in the stated improvements. After twelve months of tracking the sustained improvements they have become a permanent part of the new process. Also attached to this email is my current resume. When can we set a day to discuss if my skill set would be a good fit for your needs.
